My appointment was for a semi-annual checkup, which included x-rays and cleaning. The facility is extremely clean, the appointment was on time, and the whole staff was efficient and friendly during my visit. Dr. Stein is extremely knowledgable, meticulous, and made the appointment comfortable and interesting. He answered any and all of my questions and provided insightful information about my teeth that I have not yet heard from my previous dentists. It was truly an educational and pleasant experience, likely the best that I have had at a dentist's office.

As much as I don’t like to go to the dentist, Dr. Stein makes the visit so comfortable that you don’t mind coming back. He and his staff are very warm and engaging! And, Dr. Stein’s affable personality makes you forget that he’s actually doing a complete physical exam of your mouth, neck and throat! Love my dentist!

I never feel nervous about going to the dentist when Dr. Stein and staff are involved. They've been taking great care of me for years including after facial accidents resulting in chipped teeth. Dr. Stein met me on a Saturday to repair my front tooth on one such occasion. My extended family and I drive in from 2 to 4 counties away to enjoy the best experience.

I’m new to the area and found this dentist from his Yelp reviews. I’m happy to say that the reviews were accurate. Today I went for a routine exam. This doctor actually takes pictures of your mouth, xrays of your teeth, and examines your bite and your mouth, and throat for any anomalies. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very detail oriented. The receptionist made me feel welcome by making me a fresh cup of coffee. Dr. Stein and 3 of his great support staff were involved in my care yesterday and I felt taken care of. I already have my sixth month return appointment.

Meeting a new dentist for the first time is always a bit anxiety-provoking. Dr. Stein was both professional and warm. He provided lots of information without any pressure to do anything different. He respected my individual personality and circumstances, allowing me to make choices with the information he provided. I highly recommend Dr. Stein to everyone!

By far the best dental experience I ever had! Dr Stein puts his patients at ease. I was told I needed 5 crowns by a dentist I had been seeing for years. Dr. Stein assured me that was a very aggressive treatment plan and my severe TMJ/grinding could be addressed more conservatively. His calming voice, friendly smile and "outside of the box" thinking is refreshing. I am willing to drive 40 min to see him and its totally worth it!

I had a great first experience with Dr. Stein! He was super friendly, along with the dental assistant who helped out. I expressed being nervous about the numbing shot, and he accommodated me by giving me laughing gas as well, to make the shot hurt less. I got a new filling and am super satisfied with it!

First rate dental care! After changing dentists numerous times in the Berkeley area, I found Dr Stein when I moved to Concord over 10 years ago. Instant karma with him and the wonderful staff. Now it's like visiting friends and family.

My first treatment appointment lasted for over two hours and Dr Stein was very friendly, professionally skilled, attentive and careful to minimize any pain. His support staff are all very experienced and friendly. I would definitely recommend Dr Stein.

Dr. Stein and his team are awesome. Going to the dentist is never stressful. They are thorough, yet gentle with my teeth (or at least it feels gentle...that's how good they are).

Dr. Stein takes extra time and care to assure that my fragile tooth structure and tooth genetics don't result in additional work like crowns and or root canals. You make sure the tooth and nerve are cooled down before during and after a filling.

You will not find a better dentist & staff. Everything about this office is amazing, so amazing that my husband and I continue to commute from Vacaville. Everyone should visit Dr Stein & the staff.

I am very fortunate to have been referred to Dr Stein by a friend, after my dentist retired. It's been 12 years now and I wouldn't even consider the thought of going to another dentist.

Always a great time with Dr. Stein, Andrea, Lisa, et al! It's really more like hanging out with friends than going in for medical assistance. Also, they're pretty amazing at understanding what I'm trying to say when my mouth is full. My extended family all still use Dr. Stein and staff even though we live in several farther away Bay Area cities. Three thumbs up!

I came to Dr. Stein after having a bad experience with another dentist who told me I was just being a cry baby about a tooth that was hurting me badly after he worked on it. Dr. Stein saw immediately that (a) there was in fact a real problem created by the other dentist's work and (b) proceeded to fix it! No more pain!
